Our journey started in Hawaii and led us to the greater Seattle area in the 90s. As a family, we’ve always shared a love for food, especially Hawaiian and local flavors. Over the years, our trips to Hawaii became more than just vacations—they became a way for us to discover new tastes and recipes to share with our loved ones.

The real turning point came when my wife perfected her own recipe for Chi Chi Dango, a beloved Hawaiian dessert made with sweet rice flour. After sharing her homemade Chi Chi Dango at family parties and getting rave reviews, we knew it was time to take our passion to the next level. That's when we decided to open Keola's Mochi and Eats—a place where people could enjoy handmade mochi and Chi Chi Dango just like we did.
